ELAINE THOMPSON – SOUND THERAPY / VOICE ANALYSIS
Having trained some 26 years ago in America, Elaine is thought of as one of Europe’s most qualified Sound Therapy practitioners and teachers. She has previously been involved in practice and training in the UK, USA and Europe.
In the 1990s, she was invited to work and research at the Central Clinic in Bad Sulza, Germany, after demonstrating to the resident doctors the unique power of specific low vibrational frequencies to dramatically improve physical and mental health conditions.
Following a seminar and demonstration of how fast sound can work, a news review on RTL television went live across Europe. As a result she was invited to hold training classes and apply Sound Therapy to the flood of clients with serious illnesses. She worked alongside allopathic doctors at the clinic over a period of several years.
She also took part in a dolphin research project in Tenerife, collating information on how the sounds of dolphins affect seriously disabled children. The research data included voice print spectral analysis of the children before and after exposure to captive dolphins, and these analyses were then compared for physical changes in muscle flexibility, awareness and emotional and general responsiveness, as well as chemical and nutritional levels in the biology of the children. As well as improvement in physical condition and mental awareness, there were marked peaks of certain chemicals registered in the body that was common to a majority of the children.
Elaine has also been happily involved with the Joyful Heart Foundation USA, researching the benefits of exposure to the sounds of the wild Spinner dolphins in Hawaii with victims of rape and extreme mental and physical abuse.
In more recent times she was invited to the Altanta Children’s Hospital in America as a guest, and was instrumental in the proposal of a new research project, Project Discovery, using Sound Therapy treatment for children with Posterior Fossa Mutism (cancerous tumours of the brain).
Elaine has been featured on RTL television in Europe and Sky TV in UK. In addition, her work has been featured in many publications including Kindred Spirit, Seven Magazine, The Times, Cygnus Review, and the book “Music, Magic and Medicine” by Lutz Berger.
