Justice has finally been done – too late for Elisabeth Kratochvil, whose reputation and career have been ruined, but at least more people are now aware of the many dangers of microwave / WiFi radiation. Dopamine, known as the “feel-good” chemical, is released by the brain into the system by certain triggers. It makes us feel good, gives us that kick of pleasure, a high. There are “natural highs” that can cause dopamine to be released, and there are also other substances – nicotine and alcohol, to name two of the most common. They both create a feeling of “all is well” – and then there is the let-down. In both cases, over time, you need more and more in order to reach that “feel good” point. They are both addictive. Dopamine is also released by prolonged exposure to social media – or, as I prefer to call it, anti-social media. The “hit” that comes from those likes to a selfie we have posted, or a comment we have made; the approval of our peers – these too have been proven to be just as addictive as nicotine and alcohol, and just as damaging to our health and wellbeing. Have you seen anything in the mainstream media about a lady called Susanne Small, who was detained in a mental health facility in Farnham, Surrey, recently? Probably not. The reason she was put into a room with bars at the window was that she dared to link her headaches and other symptoms to wireless radiation, and question a new mast that had been erected, to beam out 5G. Her doctor would not look at the pile of research she presented, and Ms Small was escorted from her own home. I forwarded a 30-minute radio interview to Brian Stein, head of the charity Radiation Research Trust, as a result of which Dr Erica Mallery-Blythe, a medical doctor very much involved in this field, spoke with the facility herself, to explain more about electrohypersensitivity (EHS) and the mountain of research showing the health risks associated with it. The lady was released the following day, but the story has not ended, I feel sure. France bans mobile phones in schools from September 2018

In December 2017, the French Government announced a ban on the use of mobile phones in primary, junior and middle schools as from the start of the next school year in September 2018. According to the measures, which were part of President Macron’s election campaign, children may bring their phones to school, but will not be allowed to access them at any time during the school day, including breaks. Education Minister Jean-Michel Blanquer, responsible for introducing the measure, said that in ministerial meetings, mobile phones were left in lockers before the meeting started – “It seems to me this is as doable for any human group, including a class,” he said. Parents and teachers seem less sure. But it is a sign of the concern that the French Government has about the effects of EMF / wireless radiation on children. This was widely reported in the UK media in December 2017, but no such ban exists in UK schools, where WiFi in the classroom, according to researchers, poses a potential risk to children. Lack of concentration, headaches, increased anxiety and depression may all be a result of high levels of exposure to electro-magnetic waves.

Wireless Radiation / EMF (Electro Magnetic Frequency) Waves are given off by gadgets such as mobile phones, tablets and laptops; by anything that is WiFi (including, for instance, WiFi baby monitors) and “smart” (including smart TVs and smart meters); and of course by mobile phone masts. Research from around the world points to the health risks of these waves and many countries have already taken steps to reduce exposure levels, especially for children. In May 2018, three well-known figures in the field of research are coming together for the very first time for a series of talks to explain, in plain language, all about Wireless Radiation.
